Ahmed Abdelgawad

Dr Abdelgawad is a co-founder of Adsero – Ragy Soliman & Partners and co-head of the M&A and capital markets practice area. He also teaches at the Criminal Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University. With over 20 years of experience, Dr Abdelgawad has amassed extensive expertise in M&A and capital markets. Additionally, he has participated in numerous arbitrations and litigation proceedings in Egypt, representing clients in various project finance and syndication matters.

Dr Abdelgawad has been involved in several high-profile private equity transactions, including those with Gulf Capital, Chimera Capital, Abraaj, and Euromena. He has represented a diverse range of national and multinational companies across various industries, including Telecom Egypt, Cairo 3A, Americana, Perma Pipes, Abou Zaabal Fertilizers, Alcazar Energy, Etisalat, Atos, Danone, Delivery Hero, Domty, LITAT Group, Symantec, Stream, Suez Steel, TCI Sanmar Chemicals, and Techno Scan.
