Carlos Ucar

Carlos Ucar is an Attorney in Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramirez’s corporate department and co-head of Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramirez (BVI) Limited. He specializes in the incorporation and management of Panamanian and British Virgin Islands corporations, trusts and private interest foundations. He has extensive experience in counseling clients on the legal aspects of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. His regulatory and compliance practice includes advising industry clients on real estate and tourism. He also has particular knowledge in all aspects of trusts and foundations, as well as estate planning and organization and management of family offices, and advises private clients, families, individuals, banks, insurance companies and wealth management advisors. Carlos has a Law and Political Sciences degree from the Universidad Católica Santa Maria la Antigua and a Master of Laws (International Business Law) from the American University Washington College of Law. He has also participated in Harvard University Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers.
