
Crisela L Bernardino
Crisela has extensive experience in corporate transactions, complemented by a strong litigation background. She has advised domestic and international clients on structuring, negotiating, and documenting cross-border investments, equity and debt issuances, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and project financing. In her trial and appellate advocacy before courts and quasi-judicial bodies, Crisela has represented clients in a wide range of legal disputes spanning civil law, criminal law, energy law, labour, anti-money laundering, competition law, securities, and intracorporate conflicts.
Currently, she provides legal counsel on renewable energy projects, regulatory compliance, and ‘impact investments’. Crisela is also part of an international team of legal academics and practitioners conducting comparative legal research on climate change litigation at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
