Cynthia Quarcoo
Cynthia Quarcoo has extensive experience as a corporate and finance lawyer in Ghana and the UK, with over 15 years’ experience representing institutional clients. Her experience ranges from establishing businesses and consultancies to working with multinational firms conducting cross-border mergers, acquisitions, financing and refinancing particularly in the energy, financial and infrastructure sectors.
Some of her past roles include acting as co-counsel for the Ministry of Finance on the successful $3 billion government of Ghana sovereign bond each year from 2019 to 2021.
Her achievements include recognition by Chambers Global in 2022 in the corporate/commercial practice area, by Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in the field of General Business Law (Ghana) (2009 to 2012 editions) and recognition as a leading lawyer by IFLR 1000. She is a contributor to the World Bank’s flagship Doing Business Project (2007 to 2017) and a contributor to the 2022 Legal 500 Public Procurement Country Comparative Guide.
