Diana Ribeiro Duarte

Diana joined Morais Leitão in 2006. She is a member of the firm's corporate and M&A and capital markets team. Diana's practice is focused on the areas of corporate and commercial law.

She provides legal assistance on acquisitions and sales of shareholdings, mergers, split transactions, and restructurings, and advises clients on the establishment and execution of commercial partnerships. Diana has acted in a wide variety of business sectors, notably energy, information technologies, internet services, R&D, and healthcare. She is also deeply experienced as a legal adviser in the setting up of equity funds and provides day-to-day regulatory advice to several private equity funds.

Diana has an active role in multiple privatisation processes in Portugal. In the area of capital markets, she has been involved in the structuring of several IPOs, including the largest IPO made in the country. She also participates in the structuring of public acquisition offers, advising offeror companies and target ones.
