Kwabena Oppong-Kyekyeku

Kwabena Oppong-Kyekyeku is the managing associate for CQ Legal & Consulting’s banking, finance and capital markets practice areas.

Kwabena is as a corporate and commercial lawyer with finance expertise. His experience includes advising on complex cross-border and domestic finance transactions and credit arrangements, and structuring and negotiating a wide range of financing facilities.

Some of his past roles include working as a part of CQ Legal & Consulting’s team that advised the government of Ghana on the successful 2019 and 2020 $3 billion government of Ghana sovereign bonds and the 2021 $6 billion international capital market medium-term funding programme.

Kwabena’s achievements include being recognised as a finalist in the Private Practice Most Promising Newcomer Award category of the African Legal Awards 2021. He is a contributor to the 2022 Legal 500 Public Procurement Country Comparative Guide.
