Ožbej is a senior partner and the head of the transaction unit at Jadek & Pensa. He specialises in M&A, insolvency and restructuring, and financial law. Ožbej has participated in most of the restructurings of large systems in Slovenia and has provided advice on the most demanding M&A transactions and issues related to M&A (the Takeovers Act; the Financial Instruments Market Act; the Financial Collateral Act; the Financial Operations, Insolvency Proceedings and Compulsory Winding-up Act; the Banking Act; and the Insurance Act).
He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana in 2003 and obtained an LL.M. degree from Columbia University in New York in 2005. Ožbej has been an attorney-at-law since 2009, the entire time at Jadek & Pensa.
